Nearly 4,600 candidates applied for studies within the first part of the application process at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL). The university prepared 2.5 thousand places and 50 studies for secondary school graduates.
This year’s novelty – Criminology was the most popular. There are 5.73 candidates for one place. The most frequently chosen studies also include: Psychology (5.64), Nursing (3.23), Sinology (3), English philology (2.95) and Applied linguistics – specializing in Russian with English, Law, Management, Pre-school and Early school Education.
According to the Catholic University of Lublin, the popularity of such courses as: Hispanic studies, Italian studies, Journalism and social communication, IT, Administration, Preschool and early school education is not decreasing.
Psychology was also attended by the largest number of applicants – 451, followed by Law (373), English philology (295 people) and Criminology (229).
