The Gdynia Maritime University received over PLN 6.1 million from the Ministry of Education and Science to support the consolidation process of the university and the Maritime Institute. The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of higher education through the implementation of tasks related to the consolidation process.

The support will allow covering the costs incurred at the stage of preparation of the integration process, finance the activities carried out during the stage of integrating the Institute into the structures of the Maritime University and carry out the stage concerning selected activities consisting in the organizational and scientific integration of individual units.

The project “Support for the consolidation of universities” under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program for 2014-2020 is co-financed by the European Social Fund. The funds obtained by the Maritime University of Gdynia, over PLN 6.1 million, constitute 100 percent of eligible costs.
