The Maritime University of Szczecin officially started scientific and business cooperation with the companies: MAN Truck & Bus Sp. z o. o. and GSC Sp. zoo – representative of the MAN brand in the region. 

The agreement provides for a mutual exchange of experiences, joint work on teaching and training programs, internship programs for students, and staff support for companies. Together with business representatives, the university wants to develop teaching based on the real demand of the mechanical industry market. That is why the partners are developing new majors at the university’s mechanical department – cooperating intensively in the newly launched study Operational Engineering.

The contract sealed the earlier cooperation – so far, partner GSC equipped classrooms with teaching aids. Soon, the first students of the new study will be trained in laboratories equipped with specialized MAN equipment including sections of drive components, such as gearboxes or engines.
