Researchers of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań win the Sonatina competition

Researchers of the faculty of anthropology, cultural studies and biology at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań have become the laureates of this year’s Sonatina 5 competition of the National Science Center.

Ruxandra Ana will implement the project “Between precariousness and prestige. The work of migrants in the dance industry in times of crisis”, which aims to present anthropological reflection on professional and personal life trajectories at the intersection of migration and dance. The project focuses on Cuban migrants working as dancers and teachers in Europe (examples of Italy and Germany)

Dr Agnieszka Eleonora Zwolińska will realize the project “Factors influencing the effective transmission and spread of phytoplasmas in the environment on the example of the organism ‘Ca. Phytoplasma asteris'”. The research will help in effective diagnosis, early prediction of epidemiological threats and quick response to producers’ anxiety about new diseases plants.
