The National Science Center (NCN) has published the first ranking list of the MINIATURE 5 competition. It helps researchers to apply for funding for preliminary and pilot research, queries, research internships, research trips or consultations.

58 individual scientific activities with a total value of over PLN 2.3 million were allocated for MINIATURE 5 funding.

The aim of the MINIATURE competition is to support scientific activities leading to the preparation of a future research project planned for submission in NCN competitions or other national and international competitions. In its fifth competition, funding can be obtained from PLN 5,000 to 50,000 for preliminary or pilot studies lasting up to 12 months, a query, a research internship, a research trip or a consultation trip.

Such scientific fundings may be applied by the researchers who obtained their doctoral degree not earlier than January 1, 2009, who have not managed or directed the implementation of any research projects financed by the National Science Center and have completed at least one published work or at least one artistic achievement.
