A Polish-French research team composed of employees of the Institute of Computer Science of the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz and EFREI Paris – École d’Ingénieur Généraliste en Informatique et Technologies du Numérique in Paris won a gold medal and a special award at the iCAN 2021 International Fair – International Invention and Innovation Competition, Canada.

Their invention presented at the fair is a platform based on artificial intelligence for semi-automatic systems for universal emotion detection.

The authors of the project are on the behalf of the Kazimierz Wielki University are: Dr Krzysztof Tyburek, Dr Eng. Dariusz Mikołajewski, Dr Piotr Prokopowicz and on the behalf of EFREI Paris: Dr Catherine Marechal, Prof. Katarzyna Węgrzyn-Wolska and Dr Lamine Bougueroua.
