The Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wrocław launched a new center for servicing students and foreign staff – the WNS Welcome Center. The project is financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the Welcome to Poland 2020 Program.

At the WNS Welcome Center, scholars will receive assistance with their studies, university, stay in Poland, orientation in Wrocław, as well as in crisis situations. An employee of the Welcome Center can advise where and what can be done, help in various matters, and show possibilities.

An important goal of the WNS Welcome Center is the integration of foreigners with Polish students, and help in understanding Polish reality. The organizers have planned training in intercultural communication, the establishment of a Mentoring Team – a structure of mutual self-help and exchange of experiences between students, as well as workshops, lectures, integration meetings and other attractions.
