The Institute of Economics of the International School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw is inviting participants to a nationwide scientific conference “Poland in the world economy – opportunities and threats”, which will be held on November 18, 2021.   

The main goal of the conference is to discuss the latest research results in international economics and the market changes caused by the pandemic. The conference is also an opportunity to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Institute of International Economics of the Warsaw School of Economics (formerly the Institute of International Economic Relations).

The conference will be an opportunity to share the results of research and discuss following thematic areas: International Trade, Investments and the International Division of Labor, Trade Policy.

The conference participants are launching the Polish Trade Study Group (PTSG) to integrate the community of Polish economists who study various aspects of economic phenomena in the global economy, taking into account also the place and role of Poland in the international arena.
