The Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation, commissioned by the Polish Space Agency, will prepare a feasibility study by the end of 2021 and provide analyzes of Polish capabilities in sub-orbital missile flights. The works will be carried out in cooperation with SpaceForest Sp. z o.o. and the Kozminski University in Warsaw.
The contractors of the study will conduct a broad analysis of the Polish potential related to the development of suborbital rocket technology. Flight, trajectory and fall zones of selected structures will be simulated by Polish specialists. The document will include the analysis of available take-off sites, which will allow Polish entities to carry out suborbital flights in the future – informs Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation.
The scientists will believe in the possibility of using for this purpose both Polish and foreign military training grounds, accessed within the framework of international cooperation.
