Dr Paulina Nastały from the Department of Translational Oncology of the Institute of Medical Biotechnology and Experimental Oncology of the Medical University of Gdańsk received funding from the EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant for the project “The interplay between nuclear envelope architecture, glucocorticoid signaling and YAP pathway leading to prostate cancer progression”.

The project will be implemented with Prof. Giannino Del Sal at the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) in Trieste, Italy. The research will allow a better understanding of the biology of prostate cancer and the establishment of international scientific cooperation with ICGEB.

The European Molecular Biology Organization EMBO brings together over 1,800 leading scientists from around the world. Its main goals will support talented scientists at all stages of their careers, stimulate information exchange and help build a research environment in which scientists can do their best job.
