The Jagiellonian University in Krakow has been recognized as the most pro-doctoral higher school running a doctoral school and doctoral studies in Poland. The National Council of Doctoral Students informed about the results of this year’s PRODOK competition. 

The Jagiellonian University is followed by the Silesian University of Technology and the University of Szczecin.

The aim of the PRODOK competition is to select higher schools running a doctoral school and / or (doctoral) studies in Poland, which create the best conditions for educating doctoral students and promoting good practices in supporting the scientific activity of young scientists.

The jury assesses recruitment for doctoral studies, their organization, language courses, doctoral scholarships, research of doctoral students, supporting international cooperation of doctoral students, presence of representatives of doctoral students in university and institute bodies, legal and psychological assistance for doctoral students, as well as scientific potential, scientific effectiveness and internationalization.
