On December 22, the secretary of state in the Ministry of Education and Science Włodzimierz (MEiN) Bernacki appointed new members of the advisory team for the “Excellent Science” program and some matters relating to financial resources allocated to financing activities promoting science. Prof. Dariusz Kupisz from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin became the chairman of the team.

Handing over the nomination, Deputy Minister Bernacki said that the team would decide “on allocating funds to finance those projects under this program” including mainly projects related to conducting scientific conferences and issuing opinions on scientific monographs. The planned funding for this program is PLN 25 million.

The team is composed of 21 people associated with the scientific and academic community. They will perform their duties until December 31, 2023.
