The EMC Testing and Certification Laboratory of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin will conduct tests to check whether the devices do not emit too high an electromagnetic field level and whether they are resistant to external electromagnetic fields. The creation of the laboratory cost PLN 3.7 million.

Emission tests are performed in an anechoic chamber. The operating device is placed on a special rotating table, and the antenna located on the mast receives the electromagnetic waves emitted by the apparatus. In this way, researchers check that the emission level does not exceed the relevant standards.

During the immunity test, the operating device will be exposed to the high intensity of the electromagnetic field radiated by the transmitting antenna. During the test, scientists will observe whether the equipment works properly in unfavorable conditions.
