The University of Silesia in Katowice has signed a cooperation agreement with Centro de Investigación Científica y Cultural in Guatemala. The agreement is an extension of the existing cooperation between the two institutions. On the part of the Silesian university, it was signed by Dr Edyta Widawska, from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Silesia.
As part of the cooperation so far, in the years 2017–2021 in Guatemala, Poland, but also in Ukraine and the United Kingdom, the scholars carry out intercultural research projects on transactional passivity and the needs of educators.
The new contract between Centro de Investigación Científica y Cultural and the University of Silesia also includes exchange of students, doctoral students and academic staff, guest lectures, seminars, symposia, study visits, consultations, creating joint courses and study programs, scientific publications, participation in educational projects and conducting research.
