From October this year, at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in Kielce, it will be possible to study a new course – Special Education. The university has just received approval from the Ministry of Education and Science to launch it.

Special education is a 5-year uniform master’s degree program with a general academic profile. Upon graduation, graduates will receive a master’s degree in special education and will be prepared to work as a teacher-special educator in inclusive education as well as education and rehabilitation of people with intellectual disabilities.

This means that the graduates will be able to take up work in educational institutions, such as schools or kindergartens with integration or with integration departments, special or providing education, upbringing and care for students with disabilities.
