From the new academic year 2022/2023, students of the University of Technology in Katowice (WST) will be able to gain experience and new skills during internships at Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa SA

This is the result of a letter of intent signed by Prof. Aleksander Ostenda, the rector of the University of Technology in Katowice and the president of the management board of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa – Tomasz Cudny.

As part of cooperation with Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, the university will organize apprenticeships for students – especially in IT and Mechatronics.

This is a unique opportunity to get to know the specifics of work in the company from the inside and gain the necessary experience in one of the operating mining enterprises of the State Treasury company. Such internships will open up new opportunities for students and significantly enrich the education process.
