The Joanna Krause Garden of Impressions has been established at the Zembala College of the Poznan University of Life Sciences. The garden is intended to be a friendly space for employees, students and residents of Poznan.

Dr Eng. Joanna Krause was a researcher and teacher of the Department of Ornamental Plants, then the Agricultural University of Poznan, for almost 40 years. She was a respected specialist in ornamental bulbous plants, as well as annuals, permanent non-wintering plants and perennials. Based on her research, she wrote many valuable scientific papers and books, accessible to both specialists and amateurs.

The garden in the first part is based on flowerbeds in black, white and yellow, orange and red, and pink and purple and blue to stimulate the four senses. In the second part, there is a pavilion, which will be used for practical activities as well as for relaxation. The third part of the garden is functional – with a vegetable garden, a flower garden and a planned mini orchard.
