ISAC-GIG develops and promotes standards and recommendations for the mining and energy sector in the field of cyber security working closely in handling security incidents and cyber attacks.

“Our university intends to develop research in digital security. We are embarking on a postgraduate programme and are also planning other forms of education and important research projects in the future. The university’s mission is to participate in all processes, relevant to development, that are happening in the country. Their substantive support would not be possible without good, constructive cooperation with economic and social partners’, said the Vice-Chancellor for General Affairs of the University of Silesia, Professor Bogusław Łazarz, PhD.
