32 Polish universities have been ranked in the latest The World University Rankings 2023.

The ranking takes into account criteria such as: quality of education and learning environment – 30 %, quality of conducted research – 30 %, impact of conducted research – 30 %, international perspectives: staff, students and research – 7.5 % and knowledge transfer – 2.5 %.

The ranking of the best-ranked 10 Polish universities includes (position in the world ranking in brackets): Medical University of Wrocław (351-400), Jagiellonian University (601-800), Medical University of Łódź (601-800), Medical University of Gdańsk (801-1000), University of Warsaw (801-1000), Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (1001-1200), Medical University of Bialystok (1001-1200), SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences (1001-1200), AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow (1201-1500), University of Gdansk (1201-1500).
