The Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) in Poznań has maintained its position in this year’s THE World University Rankings. In the overall part of the ranking, the university was classified in positions 1001-1200.
UAM achieved the highest score in the Research area: 545th place. Here, the quality of research is assessed on the basis of international reputation, research income and the number of publications per employee. This year’s score in this area is significantly higher than in the 2022 list (+211 positions).
The Times Higher Education ranking is one of the four most recognised rankings of universities from around the world. It assesses the quality of universities by considering five main indicators: teaching (Teaching), research (Research), citations (Citations), internationalisation (International Outlook) and industry income (Industry Income). Data is obtained from universities, the Scopus database and academic reputation surveys distributed to researchers.
