The Academy of Physical Education (AWF) in Poznań has gained a new partner – the University of Cagliari in Italy. The new bilateral agreement, as part of the Erasmus+ programme, allows for the exchange of students – travelling for one or two semesters to complete part of their studies abroad on the basis of an agreed programme of study.
The agreement was concluded between the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Italian university and the Faculty of Health Sciences of the AWF. The first physiotherapy students from Cagliari will begin their studies in Poznań already in the summer semester.
The University of Cagliari is a 400-year-old public university dedicated to offering a comprehensive and unique public education, cutting-edge research and multidisciplinary educational programmes to the student community. The state university has more than 31,000 students, more than 1,000 teaching staff and more than 1,000 professionals in the technical and administrative staff.
