Six pairs of a mentor from the business and a student have started working on their professional development for several months. The ‘Mentor Mix’ programme was launched at Opole University of Technology. This is the first such initiative in the history of the university.
“Students with great talents who applied for the programme will work with a career mentor for several months. The mentors include our graduates, who represent different types of business, interesting areas of activity, both managerial and related to technical issues. With their help, students will have the opportunity to develop their talents,” says Dr Aneta Kucińska-Landwójtowicz, Vice-Chancellor for cooperation with the socio-economic environment at Opole University of Technology.
The programme involves a series of meetings between a mentor and a student. In addition to working with a mentor, each participant will have PLN 4,000 to spend on training to complement their competences (e.g. Excel, Lean, AutoCad, Corel, etc.)”.
