Representatives of the Naval Academy in Gdynia (AMW) attended a meeting of the High Advisory Board and Steering Committee of the Partnership for Peace Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institutes (PfPC).
The meeting, hosted by the Swedish National Defence University, was attended by Rear Admiral Tomasz Szubrycht, who represents the Minister of National Defence on the High Advisory Board, and Kmdr Resdr Dr Mariusz Mięcikowski, who represents the Polish side on the Steering Committee of the Consortium. The purpose of the meeting was to summarise the activities of the PfPC in the past year and to develop a common position for activities for the next year.
The mission of the Consortium is to create – for both military and civilian institutions dealing with security issues – conditions conducive to cooperation and integration between NATO members and other partners, outside the alliance.
