Research and Development Center of Maritime Technology Center SA belonging to Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. participate in the OCEAN 2020 project of the European Defense Agency (EDA). Its purpose is to increase the allied capabilities of navies to conduct surveillance and recognition of EU territorial waters by means of unmanned nautical submarine and submarine platforms and air systems.

Specialists from the Center of Marine Technology will work on the system design, its integration, rehearsals, including the participation of the Polish Navy. They have experience in the field of marine observation systems installed on land and on ships. They prepared them for Polish naval forces.

OCEAN 2020 is the first pan-European military research program funded by the European Defense Fund. It brings together 42 partners from 15 countries; the leader is the Italian company Leonardo. (Kp)
