‘The international popularity of Polish universities does not come from nowhere – it is the result of the work of many people who are involved in the internationalisation process. The most outstanding of this group are annually honoured with the prestigious “Stars of Internationalisation” Environmental Award’, reports the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.
This year’s awards were given to:
Distinguished Star to Professor Mykhailo Zgurovsky, Rector of Kyiv Polytechnic University.
Management Star to Prof. Anna Jurkowska-Zeidler, Vice-Chancellor for International Cooperation, University of Gdańsk.
Public Diplomacy Star to Rev. Prof. Piotr Nawrot, SVD, theologian and musicologist from the Faculty of Theology, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań.
Research Star to Prof. Dorota Dobija, Director of the Doctoral School and Head of the Department of Accounting at Kozminski University in Warsaw.
Development Star to Magdalena Kudewicz-Kiełtyka, head of the Development Office at the Silesian University of Technology.
Teaching Star to Prof. Michał Dziekoński of the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
Marketing Star (Marketing Star) to Marta Foryś, director of the Centre for International Affairs at the AGH University of Science and Technology.
Rising Star to Anna Maria Jaroslawska, head of the International Cooperation Department at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
