The Department of Celtic Philology of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL), in cooperation with the Embassy of Ireland and the Academic Circle of English Philology Students, organised on 17 March 2023. Celtic Day.

Celtic Day has been prepared for those who wish to broaden their knowledge of the history, language and culture of Ireland and Wales. This year’s programme includes five lectures (in Polish and English), including on the history and tradition of Irish music or Welsh novels and their reception in Poland.

The event also includes a Celtic knowledge quiz, dance workshops and Irish language workshops hosted by Dr Mark O’Fionnain and Welsh language workshops hosted by Dr Aleksander Bednarski.
