The Centre for French Culture and Francophone Studies at the University of Warsaw (UW) and the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw are inviting participants to the Polish-French Conference “Narrative Economics” on 24 March 2023.
The event will take place at SGH as part of the French Social Science Week at UW entitled “Science in the service of society”.
The conference will be held in French and Polish with simultaneous translation.
The debate guests include: Prof. Małgorzata Molęda-Zdziech (Warsaw School of Economics), Prof. Kacper Pobłocki (University of Warsaw), Dr Anna Pastwa, Prof. Mariusz Próchniak (Warsaw School of Economics), Prof. Angelo Riva (European Business School-Paris & École d’économie de Paris), Prof. Aleksander Sulejewicz (Warsaw School of Economics).
The discussion at the event is expected to focus on the questions: What is narrative economics? Are we dealing with a new paradigm? To what extent can and should economics draw on the achievements of other social sciences to strengthen its explanatory power and to reach the public with its message?
