Gdansk University of Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with Carrier Fire & Security Poland, which is part of the global Carrier group. The agreement opens up opportunities for inter-departmental research cooperation and commercialisation. 

The signed agreement paves the way for cooperation between the company and employees of the Gdansk University of Technology in the field of research and development in areas such as sustainable development, circular economy, CO2 reduction or carbon neutrality in the context of building and fire protection solutions developed by Carrier.

Carrier is a leading global provider of safe, sustainable, and intelligent control and automation solutions for buildings and the cold chain. Carrier’s Gdansk branch manages an R&D laboratory with an innovation incubator, ‘Carrier i3 Labs’, where the company processively develops and tests proprietary solutions.
