In the latest QS World Ranking by Subject 2023, Polish universities recorded success. Twenty-five of them, two more than a year ago, were among the best in the world, and some of the faculties run at them were even in the Top-100.
Polish universities ranked 34 out of 54 faculties included in the ranking, three more than a year ago. In 35 listings, the universities improved their positions (they dropped in 19), and in 18 listings they appeared for the first time.
The highest rankings were for agriculture and forestry (41) and veterinary science (51-70) at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, archaeology (51-100) at the University of Warsaw and performing arts (51-100) at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
The University of Warsaw turned out to be the most comprehensive university in Poland, as it featured in the largest number of evaluated faculties (21). UW’s highest rating was given to the aforementioned archaeology.
Jagiellonian University in Kraków was ranked second among Polish universities with 20 ratings. It ranked highest in Modern Languages(101-150) and Lingusitics (101-150).
