A Centre for Integrated Didactic and Library Services will be built on the second campus of the Opole University of Technology, which will house, among other things, a library, modern lecture theatres and IT laboratories. “Newton” will have an area of 12,000 square metres and will be able to accommodate 1,300 people at a time.
‘Newton’ is a place where students will be able to meet and prepare for classes. It will consist of five modules, of which the lobby will be an integral part. The other four elements of the building will be a library, an auditorium, a teaching area and an IT laboratory. The value of the investment is PLN 72 million.
“This is an important and necessary investment for our university. Investment in infrastructure, laboratories and modern learning spaces is a very important element of the Opole University of Technology’s development, which improves learning and working conditions’, says the Rector of the University of Technology, Professor Marcin Lorenc.
