Poznan University of Technology has started cooperation with Jeronimo Martins Polska S.A. – the largest employer in Poland, operator of more than 3,400 Biedronka shops”.
The agreement signed by the partners envisages cooperation within the scope of teaching, joint research work, solving problematic issues, cooperation in the direction of knowledge transfer from the university, mutual promotion and organisation of speeches, seminars and conferences.
Jeronimo Martins Polska employs more than 80,000 people and is one of the leaders in terms of revenue. Among other things, it has 17 distribution centres and a Data Processing Centre. In addition, due to the number of daily sales transactions generated (over 4 million in a network of over 3,400 shops), the company manages gigantic amounts of digital data.
