The Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice launches a new two-semester post-graduate program. Event management will allow graduates to acquire the knowledge, skills and competences needed to manage mass events.

According to the assumptions of the studies, their graduate will have a formal basis for undertaking activities related to the management and organization of events, i.e. will acquire the right to be an Event Manager. This type of knowledge and qualifications are valuable for sports facilities managers, employees of organizational units, people responsible for public safety, non-governmental organizations activists or employees of educational organizations.

The students will learn how to manage, plan, organize and conduct a mass event, how to manage teams responsible for preparing and conducting the event, what legal provisions must be included in the organization of mass events and how to plan their safety.

The studies begin in March 2018 and the entries are accepted by the Faculty of Organization and Management at the Silesian University of Technology.
