Researchers from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences of the Warsaw University of Technology will build a model of credit risk assessment for a retail client. This is a part of a joint project with FinAi company, which received PLN 7.3 million from the National Center for Research and Development under the Intelligent Development program.
FinAi is a Polish startup founded in 2016, operating on the FinTech (financial innovation) market. The goal of the company’s cooperation with Polish scientists is to combine scientific achievements and work on new customer databases so as to create real business solutions.
– The idea is to collect data on potential customers from a much wider range than before. Using social media in the first place. Of course, everything is in accordance with the law. There will be a lot of data, additionally connected with time. Time graphs are our tool for the analysis – explains Prof. Jarosław Grytczuk from the Warsaw University of Technology.
