Łódź attempts to organize the European EUSA Games University Olympic Games in 2022 or 2024. The city is visited by the EUSA delegation (European University Sport Association) consisting of two evaluation and technical committees that test Łódź ‘s potential in terms of sports facilities and accommodation for many thousands of the Olympic Games participants.

About 6000 athletes from at least 40 countries will come to a city selected by EUSA.
The idea to apply for the organization of the Games in Łódź was coined at the Łódź University of Technology. The conceptual and organizational work was carried out jointly by the Academic Sports Association of the Łódź University of Technology, Lodz University of Technology and the city of Lodz.

The entire academic and sports milieu of Łódź will take part in the preparations for such an important project. During this event, there will be a minimum of 13 sports disciplines provided with potential extension of further 7 disciplines, played in both male and female categories .
