The Rector of the Academy of Applied Sciences (ANS) in Tarnów, Dr Małgorzata Kołpa, Professor ANS, Artur Szklarz, President of the Management Board of ZKS Unia Tarnów and Tomasz Matyjewicz, Director of the ZKS Unia Tarnów Sports Championship School, signed a cooperation agreement. The joint activities are to serve the scientific development and improvement of the qualifications of the staff of the University, the Club and the School, as well as the organisation of the training process, internships and apprenticeships for students and staff.

ANS has undertaken to conduct periodic physical fitness tests of selected sports groups and practical classes for alumni of the Club and the School, to enable players and coaches of the Club and teachers of the School to participate in conferences and scientific symposia organised by the University, and to make the ANS sports base available.

The Club and the School, on the other hand, undertook to make their sports base available for research by staff and students of the University, to secure selected sports groups for research purposes and places for students carrying out work placements.
