The Polish Academy of Sciences and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina are organising the European Climate Conference in Warsaw on 15-16 May 2023 under the theme Scientific Contributions to Climate Change Transformations on the European Continent.
Leading scientists and representatives of foreign academies of science from 47 countries in Europe and Asia will speak on climate change and its consequences, particularly for the European continent.
The experts will discuss the latest research findings, the effects of climate change in Europe, related regional approaches and adaptation measures. Discussions will address ongoing climate change in agriculture, spatial planning, industry, energy, technical infrastructure and transport. Threats to water resources and European ecosystems will also be discussed.
