“AI in drones and robotics” – is the slogan of the Droniada Tech by Silesian University of Technology conference, which will be held on 1 and 2 June during the 10th Droniada at the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzów. The main theme of the conference will be the positive aspects related to the application of AI in drones and robotics.

The discussion on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) is highly controversial and is growing in popularity. It is being cast as a perpetrator of future misfortunes. Is there anything to fear? The conference will try to dispel these myths.

Participants will discuss the competencies needed to master AI and when it is not worth using AI autonomous systems, as well as the challenges of AI in the economy and society. Legal and safety aspects related to the use of drones, for example in urban mobility, will also be presented. There will also be the topic ‘AI: when to say stop? A perspective on the development of AI in the context of military and civilian applications’.
