The Faculty of Humanities of the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn concluded International Scientific Conference African Days in Olsztyn. Its theme this year was: “Africa: history – society – geostrategy – challenges”.
According to UWMFM radio, scientists from several academic centres discussed, among other things, tourism, education and the natural values of various corners of Africa. Relations of the African state with China or Russia were also discussed.
Africa has always been of interest from a historical angle. Because everything that is needed for the development of the world is in Africa. All that needs to be done now is for Africans to benefit from it too. Relations should be a partnership, based on the win-win principle,” stresses Dr Bara Ndiaye, one of the initiators of the event which has been organised at UWM in Olsztyn for 20 years.
