The University of Warsaw (UW) has been awarded the badge of ‘Merit for Mazovia’ for special contributions to the development of the Mazovian Voivodeship.
‘I am grateful for the recognition of the role not only of higher education, but also of the athletes of the University of Warsaw. This testifies both to the strength of the Mazovian Voivodeship and to the fact that we are heading in the right direction’, said Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw, adding that the University has been increasingly successful internationally, not only in Europe but also worldwide. ‘This is the result of our cooperation. We will continue to represent Warsaw and Mazovia in the best way’, he declared.
