Kraków University of Technology (PK) and the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials (ICiMB) have signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the field of scientific research and technological development. 

Within the framework of scientific cooperation, it is planned to carry out research projects and create scientific and research consortia (including international groups) that will focus on the implementation of innovative industrial technologies in the area of Sustainable Development and the European Green Deal, in line with the idea of the social responsibility of science and environmental protection. 

Exchange of scientific staff, organisation of scientific internships and traineeships for students are also envisaged. It is worth noting that graduates of the Krakow University of Technology form a significant part of the Institute’s staff team.

As PK reports, the strategic cooperation agreement will also strengthen cooperation between PK and ICiMB in the development of modern low-clinker construction binders and low-emission building materials.
