Jachranka near Warsaw to host the 1st World Congress on Polish Education and Science Abroad

The 1st World Congress on Education and Polish Science Abroad is being held in Jachranka near Warsaw on 5-9 July 2023. The main organiser of the Congress is the Saint Maksymilian Maria Kolbe Institute for the Development of the Polish Language. The co-organisers of the event include The Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Centre for the Development of Polish Education Abroad and the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The event is attended by teachers, lecturers, managers of Polish educational institutions abroad and promoters of Polish culture from all over the world. In total, nearly 500 guests from 40 countries, including China, India, Australia, North and South America and many European countries. 

The congress aims to strengthen Polish cooperation in education and science, as well as to identify specific tasks aimed at supporting Poles living abroad in the sphere of teaching the Polish language and promoting Polish culture.
