Until 31 October 2023, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) is waiting for applications within the ‘Education for the Needs of the Economy’ competition with a half a billion PLN from the European Funds for Social Development programme to support higher education institutions. The competition’s idea includes adjusting the university’s offer to the needs of the development of the economy and the green and digital transformation, the fast pace of which requires a significant supply of new skills, competences, and knowledge.

‘Ensuring high quality of education and skills in line with the changing conditions of the economy and labour market is one of the most urgent challenges facing Poland in the face of climate and digital transformation’, said Dr Jacek Orzeł, acting director of NCRD.
