The Mayor of Lublin has announced the 14th edition of a competition for the best thesis on the development of Lublin and the Lublin Metropolitan Area in the broadest sense. 

The organisers are expecting submissions from graduates: students as well as doctoral students, not only from Lublin, until 15 September 2023. It is important that the research topic relates to the broad development of our city or its metropolitan area.

Bachelor’s, master’s, engineering and doctoral theses can be submitted for this competition. The thesis can be presented at any university and in any major. 

There are two categories: one for authors of bachelor’s, master’s and engineering theses and another for authors of doctoral theses. In each of them, a main prize of PLN 6,000 and distinctions may be awarded (for more information, see the competition regulations). In addition, in the category of bachelor’s, master’s and engineering theses, there is a prize in the form of a three-month paid graduate traineeship at the Lublin City Hall, with a total cash benefit of PLN 4,500.
