From September 2023 to June 2027, the project “Today a pupil – tomorrow a student” will start. Its leader is the Kielce University of Technology, with the participation of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and from 11 district governments from the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship.
Voivodeship Marshal Andrzej Bętkowski, Deputy Marshal Renata Janik and Świętokrzyski University of Technology Rector Professor Zbigniew Koruba concluded an agreement for support from the European Funds for Świętokrzyskie 2021-2027 programme, which provides more than PLN 55 million in EU funding for the ‘Today a pupil – tomorrow a student’ project. It will benefit more than 9,000 Świętokrzyskie secondary school graduates.
The ‘Today a pupil – tomorrow a student’ project is of strategic importance for regional secondary and higher education, and I am convinced that its effects will quickly become visible”, said Deputy Marshal Renata Janik.
The main aims of the project are to stimulate interest in studying engineering, technology, technical and mathematical subjects.
