At the request of the Lublin University of Technology, here is an update on the Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition 2023:
Researchers from the Department of Polymer Technology and Processing, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Lublin University of Technology (PL): Dr Eng. Aneta Tor-Świątek, Dr Eng. Tomasz Garbacz, Prof. PL and Dr Eng. Tomasz Klepka, Prof. PL were awarded at the 16th Korean International Women’s Invention Exposition, with a gold medal and a Special Award.
The team received the award for their invention ‘Method of producing a biodegradable polymer composition’.
The invention provides the possibility to obtain injected products such as packaging, containers, toys from an environmentally friendly composition, which can be composted after fulfilling its utility function, reports the Lublin University of Technology.
