A meeting of representatives of scientific and academic milieus was held at the Ministry of Education and Science with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Dr Tomasz Rzymkowski, devoted to the development of a national strategy for the internationalisation of science and higher education.

The debate was organised on the initiative of the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Representatives of the academic community and higher education, including the General Council for Science and Higher Education, the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, the National Science Centre and the National Centre for Research and Development, were invited to participate in the meeting.

According to Deputy Minister Rzymkowski, increasing the level of internationalisation of the Polish academic sector will only be possible if all institutions involved in the process, i.e. universities, rectors’ conferences, representative organisations and associations operating in the higher education sector, as well as the Ministry of Education and Science and its subordinate agencies, work together to promote international mobility.
