“The future of this university is the future of this city”, said the rector of the Mazovian Academy (AM) in Plock, Prof. Maciej Słodki, during the inauguration of the 2023/2024 academic year.

The aspirations of the AM authorities to establish the University, the launch of the medical faculty and the positive opinions of the Polish Accreditation Committee regarding the programme evaluation of the nursing and philology faculties were the main topics of the inauguration ceremony. 

It should be recalled that as of this academic year, there is already a medical faculty in Płock, and the university can confer doctoral and post-doctoral degrees in three scientific disciplines.

According to the university’s authorities, the Academy is becoming a place of choice for young people from all over Poland. Young people from such cities as Bydgoszcz, Ciechanów, Częstochowa, Koszalin, Krosno, Łódź, Olsztyn, Rzeszów, Toruń, Warsaw and Wrocław took part in this year’s enrolment.
