Researchers at Wrocław University of Economics have launched the EDIH WRO4digITal – European Hub for Digital Innovation project. The activity is being implemented as part of the European Commission’s Digital Europe programme and a competition organised by the Polish Industrial Development Agency with funds from the European Funds for a Modern Economy.

The aim of the project, which is being carried out with innovation hubs in Saxony (University of Leipzig) and Bavaria (Deggendorf Institute of Technology), is to raise the level of digitalisation of industry and public administration in Lower Silesia. Implementation of the project will provide access to the technical knowledge and experience base required to carry out the digital transformation of the economy. 

The consortium’s activities will focus on technology testing, training and development of digital skills, support in seeking funding for digitisation-related investments, and networking and access to innovation ecosystems.
