Joint projects, training courses and programmes about safety in the broadest sense of the term are the main principles of cooperation between the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM) in Olsztyn and the Polish Association for Safety and Security.

The cooperation agreement was signed by UWM Rector Professor Jerzy Przyborowski and the Managing Director of the Polish Association for Safety, Jarosław Tokarczyk.

The association offers an e-learning platform which can be used by students and staff from the UWM academic community and organises training courses and lectures by experts cooperating with NATO.

The Polish Association for Security particularly looks forward to cooperating with the Department of Criminology and Criminalistics and the Home Security course. In its activities, the association places particular emphasis on education and prevention concerning, among other things, cyber security and terrorism.
