The international logistics company Hermes Fulfilment and the University of Zielona Góra, the largest public university in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, have started cooperation. The partners plan to organise internships and apprenticeships for students, participation in conferences and joint research and development projects.
Hermes Fulfilment is an international logistics company, belonging to the Otto Group, with warehouses in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the Czech Republic. During the talks, both parties emphasised that cooperation between science and business is one of their priorities.
“The Otto Group cooperates with innovative companies from all over the world, and we often connect the academic and business worlds. We are expanding in Poland and want to share our experience and knowledge. We are planning to encourage students to choose our organisation to develop their skills and take the next steps on their professional path”, says Hermes Fulfilment managing director Joanna Komorowska.
